Co-Founder and CEO

Prior to founding his first startup, Michael spent 7 years at Fortune 100 and mid-sized companies in various industries holding key roles in strategy, finance and operations. He earned a CPA, CMA designation and completed his undergraduate at University of Toronto earning a Honors Bachelors of Science Toronto with a focus on psychology and economics. Mike is also a mentor for Techstars Next Program in Toronto.

Co-Founder and CTO

She has a B.Sc. in Computer Science specializing in Al from the University of Toronto. She earned a designation in Interior Design after 5 years of night school. Prior to founding Furnishr, Karen had been a programmer for BlackBerry and TELUS. She also became the youngest technology program manager in TELUS responsible for delivering high-ROI engineering projects.
