Marcello Gamberale
Founder and CEO
Marcello Gamberale Paoletti is from Milan. After receiving his bachelor's degree in sciences, Marcello graduated with top grades in philosophy and later participated in a post-graduate course in Economics and Political Sciences at the University of Milan. A long standing interest in journalism led Marcello to an internship at Il Giornale, one of the largest national news outlets in Italy, and to directing the bimestrial L’Accademia del Buongoverno.
Politically active since 2011, Marcello is the first national vice-secretary and, since 2017, vice-president of Youth of the European People’s Party.
An interest in e-commerce led Marcello to take a masters course at il Sole 24 Ore in 2012 and to founding the startup ItalianPick with five associates. In 2015, his professional path led to the founding of Viveat alongside Marco Gaiani. Viveat delves into the realm of the Internet of Everything, offering innovative software solutions for traceability and transparency of consumer products in partnership with large international companies.

Marco Gaiani is an entrepreneur, investor, and advisor with 360 degrees business experience and strong blue chip corporations background. After a long and successful stint in the corporate world he started his own business. Over the course of his career, Marco has been an advisor for Private Equity &and Venture Capital deals, an investor, an entrepreneur in the food retail industry, and the founder of startups in the digital sector. Among those startups is Viveat, which operates in the IoT sector and “Seeds & Chips” “ – the first global event on Food Innovation.
Before founding Viveat, Marco had 20+ years of successful track record in companies such as P&G, where he spent most of corporate life, Ferrero and Levi’s. He had broad commercial, marketing and retail experiences at the General Manager and CEO levels.
